How to view a Reddit post history

Type a username above to list the account's Reddit post history. Results come newest first. Each one shows the post title linked to Reddit, the subreddit, the score, the number of comments and how long ago it went up. Text posts include their body. Link posts include the URL they point to, and media posts note their type.

The free page shows the 10 most recent posts and leaves out adult posts. Sign in to see the full page, sort by top, hot or controversial, and page further back.

This tool lists posts only. For replies, use Reddit Comment History. To search posts by keyword across many accounts, use Reddit Post Search.

What to look for in a user's posts

You can learn a lot from a post history in a few seconds:

  • Where they are active: the subreddits that keep coming up are the communities that know them.
  • What they share: lots of links to the same site usually means self-promotion.
  • What works: posts with high scores and many comments show which formats and titles do well in those communities.
  • How recent: a long gap since the last post can mean the account was abandoned.

Pair it with the Reddit profile viewer for account age, karma and status. If you don't know the exact username, start with Reddit User Search.

The history only includes what Reddit shows publicly. Deleted posts, hidden profiles and suspended accounts return less or nothing.

Get post history from code

GET /v1/reddit/users/{name}/posts returns the same posts as JSON, one page at a time, with a cursor for the next page. AI agents can call it as the reddit.user_posts tool over MCP. The API reference lists the sort options and the response shape.
