- Audit your own followers to see what kind of people you attract.
How to export Twitter followers
X has no button for downloading someone else's followers, and its own data download only covers your account. To export Twitter followers of any public account, enter the handle above. The tool asks X for that account's follower list and returns one row per follower.
Each row is a full profile: name, handle, bio, location, website, follower and following counts, badges, join date, and whether the person accepts DMs. A bare list of handles tells you very little, so this detail is what makes the list useful.
One free run shows the first rows of one page so you can check the data. Exporting the full list to CSV needs a free account. Sign in to export, or page through it with the API.
Followers of protected accounts are private, so the tool returns not found for them.
Turning a follower list into leads
A competitor's followers are a mix of customers, fans, other vendors and bots. A few filters cut the list down quickly:
- Accepts DMs is yes. You can reach these people.
- A real follower count. Accounts with a handful of followers and no bio are often inactive.
- Bio keywords. Words like founder, head of, or the name of a tool show who is a buyer.
For a smaller slice with higher intent, try the Verified Follower Exporter, which returns only blue check followers. To see who an account follows rather than who follows it, use the X Following Exporter.
Export every page from the API
Large accounts have many pages of followers. Through the API at /docs/tools/x-followers, each call returns one page plus a cursor for the next, so a script or an AI agent can walk the whole list and stop when it reaches a budget. The cost per page is listed on this page and in the reference.
