Free Reddit user analyzer
Enter a Reddit username and this Reddit user analyzer builds a short report from what Reddit shows publicly right now: account age, karma split, favorite subreddits, active hours and top posts. It reads the latest posts and comments, not the whole history.

How it works
- 1Enter a Reddit username, with or without u/, or paste a profile URL.
- 2We read the profile plus the latest posts and comments Reddit shows for that account, up to 25 of each.
- 3You get the account age, karma split, top subreddits, activity by hour and weekday, scores and top posts, all based on that sample.
What you get
- Account age and join date
- Post, comment and total karma
- Most active subreddits, with how many sampled items sit in each
- Activity by UTC hour and by weekday
- Average and median score of the sampled items
- Share of posts versus comments
- The three highest-scoring sampled posts
- The size and dates of the sample, so you can judge how much to trust the rest
Use cases
- Vet an account before you reply to it, work with it or take its advice seriously.
- See which subreddits an account lives in before you pitch a founder, moderator or creator.
- Check your own footprint: where you post most and which posts did best.
- Judge whether a commenter looks like a regular community member or an account with one topic.
What the Reddit user analyzer measures
This Reddit user analyzer turns a public Reddit profile into a short report. It starts with the account's age and its karma split between posts and comments. Then it reads the latest posts and comments to find the subreddits the account uses most, the hours and weekdays it is active in UTC, how well its posts and comments score, and its three best-scoring posts. People also look for this under names like redditmetis, "reddit user analysis" and "reddit profile analyzer".
What the sample is, and is not
Every figure except age and karma is based on the latest posts and comments Reddit currently shows for the account, up to 25 of each. It is not all of the account's activity. The report prints the sample size and the dates it covers, so you can see whether a pattern rests on 50 items or on 5. An account with a long quiet stretch can have a sample that reaches back years.
Active hours are counted in UTC from the timestamps of those items. They show when the sampled items were posted, not the person's time zone or daily routine.
What it leaves out
Content that was deleted or removed cannot be recovered. Reddit now hides comments that moderators removed from the author's profile, so they never appear here. The free page also leaves out adult posts, and comments in a subreddit where the account's sampled posts are marked adult. We keep no public page for any username, and a result can be up to 30 minutes old.
For the profile alone, use the Reddit User Lookup. To read what an account has written, open its comment history or post history. To check whether Reddit still shows the account, use the Reddit Account Checker.
Analyze accounts from code
The free page analyzes one account per run. The same report is available as JSON at /docs/reddit/v1/reddit/users/:name/analysis, so a script or an AI agent can profile a list of usernames, for example every commenter on a thread that asked for tool recommendations.
