Reddit and X data in Zapier

Zapier doesn't have a ChatterAPI app yet. A Webhooks by Zapier GET action with an Authorization header can call any endpoint, and you can send the results on to Sheets, Slack or a CRM. Webhooks by Zapier needs a paid Zapier plan.

Set it up

  1. Create an API key

    Sign in at chatterapi.com/signup with Google and create a key on the Keys page. You get 100 free credits. A ca_test_ key returns recorded samples for 0 credits, which helps while you set things up.

  2. Add a Webhooks by Zapier action

    Choose Webhooks by Zapier, then the GET event. Set the URL to the endpoint and add the query parameters.

  3. Add the header

    Under Headers, add Authorization with the value Bearer followed by your key.

  4. Test and map

    Test the step. Zapier lists the fields under data, and you can map them into the next action.

  • Webhooks by Zapier is available on the Professional, Team and Enterprise plans. It is not on Free. source

  • Actions accept payloads up to 5 MB. source
  • Zapier has no native ChatterAPI app yet, and ChatterAPI is not listed in Zapier's app directory. Webhooks by Zapier is the supported route.
