What counts as Twitter verified followers
On X today, a blue check usually means the account pays for X Premium. X keeps a separate list of each account's verified followers. This tool reads that list, so every row is a follower with a blue check. "Verified" on Twitter used to mean a notable person. Now it mostly means someone who pays for the product.
Each row is a full profile: name, handle, bio, location, website, follower and following counts, badges, join date, and whether the person accepts DMs.
One free run shows the first rows of one page so you can check the data. To export the full list to CSV you need a free account, so sign in to export or use the API. Protected accounts hide their followers, and the tool returns not found for them.
Why a verified-only list is useful
Most of a large account's full follower list is quiet or inactive accounts. The verified slice is smaller and leans toward people who use X often enough to pay for it. That makes it a practical place to start when you want fewer, better leads:
- Accepts DMs is yes: Premium accounts can choose who messages them, so check this before writing.
- Bio keywords: look for job titles and company names.
- Follower count: tells individuals apart from creators with their own audience.
A blue check doesn't prove who runs an account or that it's a buyer, so read the bio. For the full audience, use the X Follower Exporter. To check one account in detail, use the X User Lookup.
Export every page from the API
You can make the same call through the API at /docs/tools/x-verified-followers. Each call returns one page plus a cursor for the next, so a script or an AI agent can walk the list and stop at a budget you set.
