- Accepts DMs: yes, no or unknown
- Avatar and join date
Use cases
- Turn a curated list of founders, investors or journalists into an outreach list.
- Copy the members of a list you like so you can follow the same accounts.
- Back up a list you built before you edit or delete it.
- See who a competitor keeps on its public customer or partner lists.
How to see Twitter list members
An X List is a hand-picked group of accounts, such as "SaaS founders" or "AI researchers". Someone has already sorted the accounts, so a good list is one of the quickest ways to find people in a niche. To see the Twitter list members of any public list, paste its link above.
The link looks like x.com/i/lists/ followed by a long number. You can paste the full link or only the number. The tool returns one row per member with a full profile: name, handle, bio, location, website, follower and following counts, badges, join date, and whether the account accepts DMs.
A free run shows the first rows of one page. To export the full member list to CSV you need a free account. Sign in to export, or page through it with the API. Only the owner can see a private list, so the tool returns not found for one.
Finding a good list
- Check who your target accounts are listed on. Open a well-known account in your niche on X and look at the lists it appears on.
- Prefer lists with a clear name and a real owner. A list called "Fintech founders" kept by an investor is usually curated with care.
- Look at the size. Very large lists are often auto-generated and less focused.
Once you have members, filter them by DM status and bio keywords before reaching out. To find people who follow a topic rather than people someone picked, try the X Follower Exporter on a niche account, or search bio keywords with X User Search.
Export every member from the API
The same call is available through the API at /docs/tools/x-list-members. Each call returns one page plus a cursor for the next, so a script or an AI agent can export the whole list and keep it in sync over time.
