"text": "What CRM should a small business use?\n\nWe’re a small B2B business with 6 people and sales is still pretty founder led, but revenue has grown enough that keeping leads, follow ups and customer conversations spread across spreadsheets and inboxes is starting to fall apart. I’m trying to figure out what the best CRM for a small business looks like when you need something the whole team can use without spending weeks setting it up. \n \nI keep finding everything from really basic small business CRM tools to newer AI native CRM platforms, and I’m more interested in something that can take some of the sales work off the team rather than just becoming another database we have to maintain. Main thing is finding a CRM we can grow into without needing a dedicated ops person just to keep it running.",

"text": "Custom CRM Development Cost for a Small Business\n\nI’m helping a small service business move away from spreadsheets and build a custom CRM, and I’m trying to get a realistic idea of what development should cost.\n\nThe CRM would be web-based with multiple user roles and different permission levels. It would need customer profiles, order management, inventory tracking, and the ability for an admin to assign orders or tasks to specific team members. We’d also need a payments section for tracking basic financial stats, plus invoice generation and printing.\n\nNothing extremely complex, but it would need to be reliable and leave room for additional features as the business grows.\n\nFor developers or business owners who have built something similar, what would you consider a reasonable minimum or average custom CRM development cost in USD?",
